Rabid Fish Labs, LLC ("GlowSnap," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how GlowSnap collects, uses, and protects information when you use our iOS mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
When you use GlowSnap, we may collect:
- Name and email address (when you sign in with Google)
- Google account profile information (profile picture, user ID)
- Facial photographs for skin analysis (see Section 2 below)
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the app, we automatically collect:
- Device information (iOS version, device model)
- App usage analytics (features used, screens viewed) via Firebase Analytics
- Crash reports and performance data via Firebase Crashlytics
- Subscription status via RevenueCat
2. Facial Photo Data and Skin Analysis
What we collect: GlowSnap processes facial photographs that you capture using your device camera or select from your photo library exclusively for skin condition analysis. We do not use facial recognition technology or collect biometric identifiers.
How we use facial photos:
- Analyze skin conditions, texture, and health indicators
- Generate skin analysis reports showing areas of concern and improvement
- Create before/after comparisons to track your skin health progress
- Display personalized analysis results within the app
Third-party processing: Facial photos are temporarily sent to AILabTools API for analysis. According to AILabTools' strict data policy:
- Uploaded photos are NOT stored and are deleted immediately after processing
- Analysis results in URL format are temporarily stored for maximum 24 hours, then automatically deleted
- Your photos are NEVER used for AI model training, data mining, or any purpose beyond your individual analysis
- No other third parties have access to your facial photos
Data retention:
- On AILabTools servers: Photos deleted immediately after processing; result URLs auto-deleted after 24 hours
- On your device: Photos saved to your camera roll remain under your control and follow your device's storage policies
- In app memory: Photos held temporarily during analysis session only and cleared when session ends
Your control: You maintain full control over photos stored on your device. You can delete them at any time through your device's photo library. We do not have access to photos on your device unless you explicitly choose to analyze them.
3. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Authenticate you via Google Sign-In
- Provide skin analysis services
- Manage subscription access and premium features
- Track app performance and fix crashes
- Improve app features based on usage patterns
- Provide customer support
4. How We Share Information
We share information only with:
- Google: For authentication services
- Firebase (Google): For analytics and crash reporting
- RevenueCat: For subscription management
- AILabTools: For skin analysis processing (see Section 2)
- Apple: Basic app usage data as required for App Store
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
5. Payments and Subscriptions
All payments are processed securely through Apple's App Store. GlowSnap never directly handles or stores your payment information. RevenueCat manages subscription status on our behalf but does not have access to your payment details.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including:
- Encryption for data transmission
- Secure authentication via Google Sign-In
- Firebase's security infrastructure
While we strive to protect your information, no method is 100% secure.
7. Your Rights and Choices

- Opt out of analytics: Go to iOS Settings > Privacy > Analytics & Improvements
- Manage photos: Delete photos from your camera roll anytime
- Access your data: Contact us to request a copy of your data
8. Children's Privacy
GlowSnap is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and through in-app notifications for significant changes.
